Monkey will be here before we know it!!!

I went in this morning for my 37 week check up. I have been experiencing LOTS of pain from my gallbladder. So....my doctor decided it would be best to go ahead and schedule an induction for Friday, August 13th if he isn't here before then. He did this to avoid my gallbladder from getting too sick. So "B.J." will be here by next weekend!!! I can't believe that by next weekend I will be holding my baby boy in my arms.

This pregnancy has gone by so quickly! I can't believe it's time for him to be here!!! We are so excited about meeting our little boy! I have to admit at times I get a bit nervous. All the changes that are about to take place....it's a BIG DEAL!!! : ) I am so glad that God is blessing up with this little boy. God chose us to be his parents and I pray daily that I am the mother that God has called me to be!

I can't wait to see Jamie hold him and love on him!! I already love my husband so much....I can only imagine how seeing him with our sweet little boy will make that love grow stronger!!

We will make an announcement on the blog next weekend with "Monkey's" name!!! AND PICTURES of course!!! : )

Painting

Painting, is not fun. I can think of a hundred things that I would rather be doing than spending three weeks of my life with a paint brush in my hand. The past three weeks or so have been exactly that, though. The upstairs bedroom (which we are relocating to, the nursery, the upstairs bathroom, and the living room are now all pretty much complete. Even though it was frustrating at times, when we sit back now and look at it all, I feel good thinking about how we have made preparations for home that will no longer be just ours. B---- J------ is coming into home that was pretty much prepared for his arrival. It feels nice to know that my labor (and I probably shouldn't use that would around Amanda) has been not necessarily out of necessity but out of how much I love my wife and my son. Starting a family has been an amazing experience and I'm super excited for him to get here.

Getting Ready for Monkey

I am 34 weeks pregnant today! I can't believe this pregnancy has flown by so quickly!! I can honestly say that I have really enjoyed being pregnant. God is truly amazing. Monkey's room is almost complete! Now...to get the rest of the house in order. We have a TALL to-do list and a SHORT amount of time to get it all done!!! I'm sure we can do it. Jamie has been HARD at work getting everything ready for his little boy. He's been an awesome sport!! I couldn't ask for a better husband. Only 4 more weeks until I am considered "full-term". WOW!!! : ) I can't wait to see what he will look like!!! I can't wait to hold him...and give him TONS of hugs and kisses!!! We love him so much already!

Said I would never do this....

My husband thought it would be a great idea to start a blog for our family. So...here I am blogging. We'll see how frequently I use it.
